Q:What is the difference between the fabrics used and how does this affect sizing? A:1. Woven 95% cotton, 5% lycra or Woven 95% poly/viscose, 5% lycra Medium-weight - very hard-wearing. Has a good degree of stretch/give to it, but frequently means the breeches fit small, so many customers prefer to order a size up. 2. Knit 95% cotton, 5% lycra/spandex Medium-weight - much more stretchy, though not as hard-wearing - sizes true. Q:Will my breeches shrink in the wash? A:All fabrics used are pre-shrunk before construction, so provided you follow the washing instructions, you should NOT encounter shrinkage problems. Q:What are your washing recommendations? A:Machine washable in cold/lukewarm temperatures. Use a gentle detergent, and no fabric softener as this may soften the clarino unnecessarily. Bleach should not be used, and we suggest using a delicate spin cycle. Although breeches can be tumble dried at very low temperatures, it is preferable to allow them to air-dry, away from direct sunlight. Q:What leg length should I select for Ladies Breeches? A:We suggest you order the REGULAR length if you are up to 5 foot 7 inches tall (167.5cm). We suggest you order the LONG length if you are taller than 5 foot 7 inches (167.5cm). Q:What leg length should I select for Mens Breeches? A:We suggest you order the REGULAR length if your normal inside leg measurement is 31 / 32 inches (77.5cm to 80cm). We suggest you order the LONG length if your normal inside leg measurement is greater than 32 inches (80cm). Q:How do breeches sizes compare to Ladies Dress Sizes?
