2007 Dark brown Appendix (Quarterhorse x Thoroughbred) gelding. "Bear" Stands 16.1HH and has a small star with 2 hind socks.
He was started in January 2011 and is doing very well. He Showed Training level in 2011 (went to 2 shows) He scores ranged from mid-high sixties. He is solid in the basic gaits, contact and rhythm. He is confident with leg yielding and simple changes through trot, and he is starting shoulder in, travers, walk/canter transitions and walk pirouettes. He is Showing First level this year.
Bear has a super work ethic and is very sensible to ride, even out in the country he is confident and enjoyable to ride. He has been ponied along on trial rides and has had other horses ponied off of him too. He possesses good barn and ground manners, he loads easily in trailers, and travels well. He has always been healthy and sound, UTD on vaccinations, farrier work and he is on a deworming program. He has always gone barefoot - He clips easily (even his ears) and enjoys baths and getting vaccumed. Bear will be well suited to a dressage or hunter home. He has a great work ethic, willing attitude and is forgiving.
