The 2010 Danish Warmblood baby Hearttrob aka Cardio is a beautiful black foal, who is aptly named. Not only does he have a refined head,short back, correct legs and lovely, soft, lofty movement but he is Mr. Personality.....a real charmer! This colt is very well behaved and loves his people. Cardio leads like a pro, loves being brushed all over and is very polite about picking up his feet. He is a very fast learner and a joy to handle!!!!
Cardio's sire is the deceased stallion Blue Hors Hertug DVE 700, who represents four generations of grand prix horses. He is still the most important son of the legendary dressage stallion Schwadroneur and he had the illustrious stallion Donauwind *E* (sire of Olympic gold medal winner Abdullah) for a dam sire. Hertug is now leading the Danish Dressage Index.. He started his riding career by being the Danish Young Horse Champion three years in a row,age 4,5,6. He was proclaimed Danish Elite Stallion in 2004 due to the high quality of his offspring whom he clearly stamps with grand movement [super walk] and high rideability. Cardio's father was named Danish Warmblood Stallion of the Year 2007.
Cardio.s dam is Daphne RDH, the half sister of Todd Fletrich's Otto and the silver medal mare Arabella RDH (both Grand Prix dressage winners). Their sire was Rambo DVE 373, who is the highest rated stallion ever tested in Denmark. He won his 100 day test with an overall score of 9. While Rambo was a Grand Prix dressage stallion,he was also known to pass on his jumping talent as well as his excellent mind and character! He has sired numerous FEI horses and was named Danish Horse of the Year for many years. Rambo brings Ramiro Z and the great Ibikus to Cardio's pedigree.
