Very old Chihuahua spur with 4" spoked rowel
Very old Mexican Chihuahua spur, well used with a considerable amount of rust. This spur shows very early hand craftsmanship. Note the large outside strap pin. This was handworked on a primative forge.
There are no markings or decorative work of any kind seen. The spoked rowel is 4" in diametre.....huge. Approximate length is 7", width 3.75. Weighs in at a hefty 13oz.
Just imagine the stories that this spur could tell.... :)
Overall, this is an amazing example of an early hand forged spur. Should display especially well in your collection.
