The seat measures a true 16.5", and the flaps measure 13.75" L X 13.25" W. The medium tree measures 4.5" dot to dot, which will accommodate a wide variety of horses. The upgraded full buffalo leather has a fantastic grip to it. Between this and the nicely-sized front and back blocks, you will feel very secure! You would never know this saddle is a 2004 - it is in excellent condition and shows very little wear. It has been lightly used over its lifetime, and only has a bit of darkening on the flaps and some very minor wear near the bottom of the flaps. There is also a small area near the top of the cantle (right side) that has some light striations in the calfskin leather which are hardly noticeable. This saddle will come with matching 54" Devoucoux leathers in excellent used condition; standard stainless steel stirrup irons; and a red, unlined Devoucoux cover. 3-day trial is available!
